Reddit Launches Enhanced Video Tools
With the announcement of the impending shutdown of Dubsmash, Reddit has decided to enhance their video tools and are giving Redditors their very own Reddit Camera feature.
Reddit is responding to soaring video engagement on the app and offering their users this enhanced video capability. The in-app camera has the ability to adjust playback speeds, a timer function, and the ability to trim and adjust various video clips. Users can upload videos in three modes: landscape, portrait, and fill. By adding its first AR lenses, fun effects such as “Bread Cat” and “ Snoo” are now available.
Other cool features include a new video-editing tool, which will allow users to add text stickers, drawings, and filters, as well as voiceovers, the ability to adjust volume levels, and trim or rearrange videos.
Exciting times are ahead for Reddit as they evolve their AR options. Watch this space as we keep you updated on the latest news.
